🔧 Installation Guide (IMPORTANT)
These levers are a direct fit for all Tuttio Soleil 01 models (no year differences). If they don't feel right during install, it's almost always due to alignment or pressure in the system.
⚠️ WARNING: If the brake lever is installed in a way that slightly presses the master cylinder, it can keep pressure in the hydraulic system and cause the brake to drag or lock up. Do not tighten the pivot bolt while the lever is in contact with the master cylinder. Always align the lever fully before securing.
⚠️ Common Issue After Install
You may notice:
- Brake feels stuck or tight
- Wheel does not spin freely
- Brake engages without pressing
👉 This is a common hydraulic brake issue, not a defect
🧠 Why This Happens
During installation, the lever can slightly press the master cylinder piston, which builds pressure in the system and keeps the brake engaged.
🔧 How to Fix (Takes 1–2 Minutes)
1. Release pressure (fastest fix)
- Slightly loosen the brake caliper bleed valve
- Tighten it back immediately
2. Reset pistons
- Gently push brake pads apart with a flathead
- Pump the brake lever a few times
3. Pump the brake
- Press repeatedly to let the system settle
